Shane McMahon Reportedly “Let Go” By WWE

WWE money looks to no longer be coming to Shane McMahon.

Over the weekend and coming out of the Royal Rumble event worked was that there was some heart on Shane McMahon backstage. It was not fully known what this was stemming from but some thought it was because Shane brought in to both work and produce the match. It was also stated that Shane McMahon was set to work Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania 38, but not that is not going to happen.

According to a new report from RingSideNews, they do report that Shane McMahon has been “quietly let go” by WWE. This news was also confirmed by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, WrestleVotes on Twitter, as well as others but with little details still known on the situation.

Again as stated McMahon worked the Royal Rumble match this past weekend and was also originally booked for big matches at Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania. It was said that Shane was supposed to be in the Elimination Chamber match for the WWE Championship. Plus early plans actually had McMahon facing Seth “Freakin” Rollins at WrestleMania 38 in April.
