Sammy Guevara Injured On Last Week’s Dynamite

Sammy Guevara can finally open his eyes.

This past Wednesday on AEW Dynamite we saw Sammy Guevara defend the TNT Title against Darby Allin. The match itself was incredible, yet it seems that Guevara was injured during the match itself.

Sammy Guevara took to social media today and stated that he suffered a scratch corner in the match this past Wednesday. He did not state how bad or severe the injury is but stated he was finally able to open his eyes. He also went on to basically not blame Darby for the injury.

Again Guevara did not state of severe the actual injury is. We do not know if this week keep him out of the ring or off television till it heels up or not. As of right now, Guevara is not announced for a match or segment on next week’s shows so we will have to wait and see how he is by Wednesday.
