Rey Fenix States He Was Mistreated & Ignored For Months By AEW

One AEW star is slightly speaking out about the company.

One of the biggest news stories of the last month has been the Lucha Bros. Penta’s deal with All Elite Wrestling expired on December 1st, but his brother Rey Fenix has had injury time added to his contract keeping him locked down to AEW. Now Fenix has began to speak out about how he has been treated while in AEW.

Over the weekend Fenix responded to a fan post on Twitter talking about Fenix not being able to leave AEW and the company also not using him. Fenix basically said he will speak the truth when he has a chance to.

Fenix would not end there when it comes to AEW. Fenix would also send out a Tweet on Saturday the alludes to him being treated inhumanely while in AEW.

Fenix would also make it known that contractually he is actually not able to speak about what has gone on, but has doubled down that he will speak out when he can.

On Sunday a tweet was sent out with some interesting information on Fenix and AEW. It noted, “The alleged excuse that Tony Khan found out about Lucha Brothers [being] in talks with WWE is ‘fake news,’ and the real reason [will be] revealed.”  It also noted that the “real story” with all of this is a “huge injustice” with Rey Fenix. It also notes how when the Lucha Bros go into detail on what has happened “it is going to be ugly.” Rey Fenix would respond to this tweet calling this the most accurate info so far.

Finally, Fenix would tweet that he needed a doctor for months and got ignored.

With all of that, legally Rey Fenix can not say much but this does not sound good on the AEW side of things and yet that is just it. We are only hearing about this from the Fenix side and according to Sean Ross Sapp, AEW is opting to not comment on the situation at this time.
