Unfortunately, it looks like Bobby Lashley may miss Mania.

Today at the WWE Elimination Chamber event, they did an injury angle with Bobby Lashley. Seth Rollins powerbombed Austin Theory into one of the pods, the pod that Lashley was standing in. Lashley would fall down and officials eventually removed him from the match. Michael Cole stated they were checking on him for a possible concussion, but we now know exactly what is going on with the former WWE Champion.

According to former WWE writer Kazeem Famuyide on The Ringer Wrestling Show, Famuyide stated that Lashley is shoot hurt and has been hurt since the Royal Rumble match with Lesnar.  He stated that from what he was told that Lashley is going to be out for a least four months and he may need shoulder surgery.

“I have under good authority that Lashley is shoot hurt and has been hurt since the Rumble match. If you’ve noticed he hasn’t worked any Raw’s. He hasn’t really defended his title. He was shoot hurt at the Lesnar match at the Rumble. From what I’m told, it’s for at least 4 months. Shoulder surgery. I’m hearing that he might not even make it to Mania.”

With Bobby Lashley reportedly expected to be out of action for at least four months with shoulder surgery, that would mean that he would in fact miss WrestleMania. WrestleMania comes to us in only six weeks and if they think four months now, there is no way he can miraculously recover by the first week of April.

If we do hear anything on Bobby Lashley possibly needing shoulder surgery and how long he will be out of action, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
