Legal reason forced WWE to change the Sonya versus Mandy match.

This last week no doubt had the has been the worst week in the life of WWE Superstar Sonya Deville. A man came to her home, threatened to kill Mandy Rose and tried to abduct her. The man was arrested asked for bail of two million dollars. It looks like this scary situation could have been why the hair vs. hair match at SummerSlam was changed.

According to Dave Meltzer on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer states that Deville’s lawyer did not think that it was a smart move for Deville to have her head shaved and then have to be in court testifying. They felt something like this should happen while legal proceedings are going on.

According to Bryan Alvarez on the Bryan & Vinny Show stated that Vince McMahon still really wants the do the hair vs hair match. Yes as of right now that can not happen due to the legal situation and because Deville lost a loser levaes WWE match.

After the match took place WWE posted a quick 30-second video with the person bechind the camera calling her Sonya to where she said, “Do not call me that, ever again.”
