Reported Major Details On WWE Running A PPV In The UK

It looks like WWE is heading to Wales.

For months now we have heard the rumors that WWE would like to run a PPV or Premium Live Event from the United Kingdom in 2022. The reported date was the first weekend in September and now it looks like we have a more concrete report on when and where this show will be taking place.

According to WrestleVotes on Twitter, they report that the long-awaited WWE United Kingdom PPV will take place on Saturday, September 3rd. The show itself will take place from the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.

As far as the stadium itself does go, it is a rugby stadium with a seating capacity of 74,500. With a WWE setup and floor seating, there is nothing that says they can’t have at least 75,000 or more seats available for the show. Now when WWE runs a big stadium like this whether that is here in the US or overseas, they do like to get in the building days in advance to set up the stage. We do not know if this could impact that at all or not, but the day before, there is a career fair booked to be taking place from the Stadium.

If we do hear anything else on WWE running a major show in Wales the first weekend in September, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
