Reason Sasha Banks Was Not In The Royal Rumble

Last night was the 2020 Royal Rumble and one former Women’s Champion was missing from the match. If you watched the show you would have noticed that Sasha Banks was missing from the match and that is because she is not cleared.
First reported by Fightful, they reported that Banks was not in the match Sunday night because she was not cleared to compete. PWInsiderΒ updated this by stating that Banks was scheduled as late as Saturday night to be in the match. It’s unclear when the decision was made to pull Banks from the match, but Kelly kelly ended up in Banks’ spot in the Royal Rumble.
If you have noticed, Banks has not done anything physical since a triple threat tag team match on Smackdown. They kept teasing her facing Lacey Evans and had to keep coming up with ways to get out of doing the match.
