Reason Jey Uso vs Logan Paul Is Not Taking Place at Backlash

Uso vs Paul is set for later this month.

For the past few weeks on RAW, we have seen WWE build up a program with Logan Paul wanting to challenge Jey Uso for the World Heavyweight Championship. Many thought the match could take place at Backlash this weekend, but it is not on the card. Now we know when and where it is set for.

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, he reports that the reason the World Heavyweight Title match is not taking place at Backlash is that it is set for another big show later this month. The match between Uso and Paul is currently set to take place at Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 24th in Tampa.

When it comes to the next Saturday Night’s Main Event, no other matches have yet been teased. We could see Tiffany Stratton defend the WWE Women’s Championship against Nia Jax, and John Cena is advertised for the show as well.
