Possible Plans For Seth Rollins At SummerSlam

What may the former World Champion do at SummerSlam?

Coming up on Sunday, August 3rd we are getting SummerSlam from Cleveland, Ohio. We basically know most of the card for the show yet there are still a few questions regarding the card. One big one is what will Seth Rollins be doing and we may now have some sort of indication of what that could be.

On last night Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez and Dave Meltzer were talking about the card for SummerSlam and when Bryan got to Drew McIntyre versus CM Punk Dave would cut him off. Dave would then go on to say that Seth Rollins is expected to be involved with this match but as of six days ago, the plan is not a triple threat match.

“The Punk (vs McIntyre) match is ‘probable’. Rollins will probably be involved in that match but I was told it was not gonna be a three-way, or at least as of six days ago, it was not gonna be a three-way.”

As far as what kind of involvement in the McIntyre/Punk that Rollins could have is not known. Whether Rollins could be the special guest referee or will just make a run-in during that match are the only two ways we can think of. Other than that how Rollins could be involved is not clear.
