Possible Big Spoiler For Friday’s Smackdown

A Rhode may be headed through Glendale.

This coming Friday night, Smackdown will come to us from Glendale, Arizona. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has officially been announced for the show and because of that the show is sold out. The Rock is set to do something big at WrestleMania with Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, and Seth Rollins. It is not known if Reigns or Rollins will be on the show Friday but it looks like a nightmare could be meeting Rock in the desert.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, he reports that the current plan is for Cody Rhodes to be at Smackdown this Friday in Glendale. This past weekend at the Elimination Chamber event in Perth, Australia Rhodes called out The Rock to face him one-on-one before his match with Reigns at WrestleMania and now Rhodes wants a response.

They did somewhat tease this last night at the end of Monday Night RAW when Cody Rhodes said that he is coming for The Bloodline and that he would hunt them. Basically, Cody saying he knows he has to take them all out before his Undisputed WWE Universal Title match against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania if he wants an actual shot of winning.

Regarding Rhodes facing Rock in a singles match anytime in the next 39 days that does not seem likely. It is still heavily being teased that we will see a tag team match where on one side is Reigns and Rock with Rhodes and Rollins on the other side. Remember when Rhodes laid down the challenge at Elimination Chamber, Rollins told him it is never one-on-one with The Bloodline and he would be there by Cody’s side.
