Plans For Roman Reigns Following Survivor Series
November 6, 2020WWE has already set up Reigns’ next challenger.
Right now WWE is in a weird place as everything needs to be built towards Survivor Series and Smackdown versus RAW matches. Yet at the same time, they need to build championship challengers for after Survivor Series as well. With Randy Orton on RAW, there are three people who want to go after the WWE Championship. Last week though, they may have set up Roman Reigns next challenger for the Universal Championship.
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Meltzer reports that Reigns’ next program is scheduled to be with Daniel Bryan. Last week on Smackdown Jey Uso defeated Bryan in a Survivor Series qualifying match and then after Reigns’ ordered Uso to beat Bryan down further after the match was over. Uso reigned down punches on Bryan while yelling “I understand now,” before splashing Bryan through the announce table.
The next WWE pay-per-view after Survivor Series on November 22nd is set to be TLC but a location and date have not yet been given. We do know that by December WWE will no longer be running The Thunderdome in the Amway Center in Orlando.
