Paul Wight’s Mystery Signee Revealed At AEW Revolution
March 7, 2021Tonight a hall of fame-worthy wrestler signed with AEW.
This past Wednesday on AEW Dynamite Paul Wight made his AEW debut and said that a “hall of fame-worthy” wrestler was signing with AEW at Revolution. For the next four days, many names started to be predicted by fans and such, and one name that was mentioned more than other was the one who showed up tonight.
At AEW Revolution it was officially revealed that Christian Cage has signed with All Elite Wrestling. Many speculated the big signee was Christian and those who predicted it were correct. Cage would come out to his old Total Nonstop Action then along with the countdown on the titantron as he had back in the day in TNA. He would come out to a podium on the stage and grab a contract, sign it in the ring and leave without saying a word. AEW did not even say when we would see him next.

Christian made his in-ring return earlier this year in the 2021 Men’s Royal Rumble and many felt that was his return to WWE. Many believed that so much that they started pushing for an Intercontinental Championship match with Christian challenging the current champion Big E.
This is a cool signing for All Elite Wrestling, but the question is what do they actually do with him in the company? How far can you push him and how many matches does he still have left in him?
