Pat McAfee To Wrestle At WrestleMania 38
March 3, 2022Vince McMahon made Pat McAfee an offer he could not refuse.
On Thursday afternoon, Vince McMahon was on the Pat McAfee Show and was interviewed for over an hour. They hit on a number of different topics and at one point Vince told Pat he had something for him. That was a match at WrestleMania.
As it seemed like Pat was going to wrap up the show McMahon wanted the interview to keep going. This is when McMahon offered McAfee a chance to wrestle at Wrestlemania 38. Of course, McAfee accepted the offer. McMahon then stated that they will find him a worthy opponent. McAfee asked McMahon if he was serious and McMahon told him, “I don’t bullshit.”

“I want to offer you something. I know you love what we do and you’re part of the team, big time. People in the organization really enjoy you. Fans all over the world really enjoy you being you. You can’t find anyone. I can’t imagine back in the day Bob Costas standing up on the desk and dancing. You’re you and that’s why it works. With that, I’d like to offer you an opportunity to actually wrestle at WrestleMania, in the ring. It would be different than when you played for the Colts. You were the punter. Now, in the ring, you’re going to be a linebacker., Said McMahon
“There’s been a lot of chatter on the internet about me getting back in the ring and wrestling at WrestleMania. I’ve had so many conflicted feelings because I’m out of shape. There’s a lot of vitamins that go into these lungs. WrestleMania is the standard. I would love to,” said McAfee
“We’ll find a worthy opponent for you and put you in the ring. I don’t bullshit. I don’t do that,” said McMahon.
With Pat McAfee wrestling on the show, that now makes eight matches official for WrestleMania 38.
