Odd WrestleMania Match With Unexpected Opponents Reported
March 21, 2022Two men you could not guess are set to fight at WrestleMania.
In less than two weeks WWE will go to Dallas, Texas for WrestleMania. They will have two nights of WrestleMania and so far we know of six things for each night. Yet today a match no one could have predicted is being reported.
Monday WrestleVotes posted on Twitter that Omos is scheduled for a singles match at Wrestlemania. They also noted how the opponent may surprise some.
Source states, as of now, Omos is indeed getting a singles WrestleMania match. And his opponent may surprise some peopleβ¦

When thinking of who his opponent could be one would probably think it would just be a quick squash match to showcase the big man on the biggest show of the year. Yet according to another report, it’s a former WWE Champion and a former WWE Champion who had the title earlier this year.
According to a new report from Fightful, they do report that as of this past weekend Omos was actually scheduled to face former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania. Now Lashley was injured back in January at the Royal Rumble and expected to miss four months of action. The report does state that they have not confirmed if Lashley has even been cleared yet from his shoulder injury.
Lashley has not been seen on television since Elimination Chamber and there are only two more episodes RAW before WrestleMania to set this up. If this is in fact the direction they are going and the match is taking place then they have to set it up either tonight or next Monday.
