NXT Superstar Officially Called Up To Smackdown

A former NXT Champion is part of the blue brand.

This time of year, coming off WrestleMania and into the WWE Draft, we normally see NXT Superstars called up to RAW and Smackdown. Recently, we have seen Roxanne Perez and Giulia on Monday Night RAW. Yet one of them has been placed on Smackdown.

Tonight on Friday Night Smackdown, General Manager Nick Aldis revealed that former NXT Women’s Champion Giulia is the newest member of the Smackdown Women’s division.

Not only is Giulia on the blue brand, but she has her first Smackdown match set for next week. On next week’s show, she will face both Charlotte Flair and Women’s United States Champion Zelina Vega in a Women’s Money in the Bank qualifying match.
