NXT Star Injured During Tonight’s NXT

A star on the rise is now on the shelf.

The end of NXT TakeoVer 31 saw Ridge Holland with a beat down Adam Cole. The feeling coming off the show is that WWE had big plans for Holland having him working with Adam Cole the former NXT Champion. tonight Holland was in action, but it did not go the well.

Tonight Ridge Holland took on Danny Burch and the match was not long with Holland picking up the victory. Most of the action took place after the match as the two brawled. Holland got the better and Oney Lorcan ran out to make the save. At one point Lorcan jumped over the top rope to the floor and Holland caught him. As he did his leg gave out and he went down. After a commercial break, they showed Holland had to be stretchered out of the building with his entire left leg in a brace.

As far as what the injury itself actually is, is unknown at this time. It looked like he could have snapped his ankle but with his entire leg in a brace, that means it could have been any sort of leg or knee injury.
