NXT Introduces New Group With Former IMPACT Wrestling Champions

Tonight NXT introduced ‘The Brand.’

On tonight’s edition of NXT, we saw Mia Yim defeat Kayden Cartner. After the match, she was then attacked by the debuting Chelsea Green. After the attack, Robert Stone, the former Robbie E, appears on the ramp and announced that he has signed Green who was a free agent to be part of ‘The Brand.’ With the way Stone said he had signed Green, it leads one to believe that he will be adding more superstars to his group over time.

This move of introducing Green on NXT came as a little bit of a surprise as she has been on the road with the Raw brand since before Christmas and many felt maybe she had been placed on the RAW brand. She worked a match against Charlotte Flair on RAW. Then she worked two Main Event matches over the last two weeks as well. Deonna Purrazzo has also been on the road with the RAW brand is basically best friends with Green so it will be interesting to see if she is also added to this new group as well.
