Number Of Fans WWE Is Planning For At WrestleMania & Possible Return To Touring
January 20, 2021Fans are set to be back at WWE shows starting with Mania.
WWE announced last weekend that WrestleMania this year will be taking place at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa and will be a two-night event. We also heard that WWE wants fans to be in attendance at the shows and we have a little more information on that.
According to WrestleVotes on Twitter, they report that the plan right now is to have 25,000 fans at WrestleMania each night. This makes sense as when the Buccaneers have played there they have had about 14,000 fans in attendance. With WWE using both the normal seating and adding floor seating as well, that justifies adding 10,000 more fans and being able to have them spread out well enough.
WrestleVotes also states that after WrestleMania some would like the have a soft reopening in terms of possible touring for television again.
WWE is planning on permitting upwards of 25,000 fans for WrestleMania on each night. The real internal discussions are what to do after. Some would like a soft โreopeningโ of the touring schedule for Live TVs as continuing the ThunderDome post Mania comes with location headaches.

The big question is will WWE be able to get 25,000 fans on each night. If the Buccaneers can get 14,000 local fans there is a chance WWE could get close to that number of local fans, yet can WWE really get enough fans to fly in for one or two nights. Remember WWE is not planning any other accompanying events with fans that week so that will hinder many fans from justifying paying the money for a ticket and a flight.
