Nine Matches Announced for NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 15

New Japan’s biggest show is coming along.

The biggest show, or now shows, for New Japan Pro Wrestling every year is Wrestle Kingdom. Starting last year and continuing this year that event has been transitioned to a two-night event taking place on January 4th and 5th every year regardless of what day of the week those days fall on. Now the card is coming along for both nights.

New Japan announced nine matches for the two-night event. So far five matches have been announced for night one and four for night two.

Night 1: January 4, 2021:

IWGP Heavyweight and Intercontinental Championships
Tetsuya Naito(c) vs. Kota Ibushi

Will Ospreay vs. Kazuchika Okada

Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Great-O-Khan

IWGP Tag Team Championships
Dangerous Tekkers (Zack Sabre Jr & Taichi) vs. Guerrillas of Destiny (Tama Tanga & Tanga Loa)

IWGP Junior Heavyweight #1 Contenders Match
Hiromu Takahashi vs. El Phantasmo

Night 2: January 5, 2021:

IWGP Heavyweight and Intercontinental Championships
Tetsuya Naito/Kota Ibushi Winner (c) vs. Jay White

SANADA vs. EVIL

NEVER Openweight Championship
Shingo Takagi (c) vs. Jeff Cobb

IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship
Taiji Ishimori (c) vs. Hiromu Takahashi/El Phantasmo Winner
