New WWE Champion Crowned Tonight On RAW, Survivor Series Match Changed

November 16, 2020 1 By Tim Jarrell

Drew McIntyre became the new WWE Champion.

During the main event of tonight’s Monday Night RAW, we saw Randy Orton defend the WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre. Early in the match, Orton tried to just up and leave the match but that would not work. Adam Pearce would come out and inform the competitors that the match was now no disqualification and no count-outs.

We would see the two beat the hell out of one another. Chairs were used, both men were dropped on the announced table multiple times and Randy Orton has shoved off the apron through a table on the floor. In the end, it was the former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre who was able to win the match and regain the WWE Championship.

Regarding the match itself, we here at PWUnlimited were told that Triple H had a lot of input in this match as far as helping set it up and plan it out. We were not told specifically but from what we were told it seemed as if Tripe was basically the producer on the match.

With Drew McIntyre recapturing the WWE Championship tonight on RAw that changes one big match at Sunday’s Survivor Series pay-per-view. Now instead of Randy Norton facing the Universal Champion Roman Reigns, Drew Mcintyre will now. McIntyre and Reign’s past goes back a few years where the two faced off at WrestleMania 35 where reigns picked up the win. They also met at Extreme Rules in 2019 when Reigns teamed with The Undertaker to face Drew McIntyre and Shane Mcmahon.
