New NXT North American Champion Crowned
August 22, 2020in a brutal match, one man is now the new North American Title.
Tonight at NXT TakeOver XXX a ladder match was held to crown a new NXT North American Champion. In the match was Bronson Reed, Damian Priest, Cameron Grimes, Johnny Gargano, and The Velveteen Dream. That match was everything you may have expected and so much more. Every man and one woman in Candice LaRae put it o\all on the line to try and steal the show.
The finish of the match saw Johnny Gargano at the top of the ladder about to grab the ladder when Damian Priest would grab him by the throat. The to then played tug-a-way with the title as Priest started to kick Gargano. Ultimately the kicks led to Gargano falling off the ladder and Priest capturing the vacant NXT North American Championship.
