New Match Added To WWE Hell In A Cell
October 23, 2020The briefcase will be on the line Sunday.
Tonight on Friday Night Smackdown we had the “Law & Otis” segments where The Miz took Otis to court over the Money In The Bank contract. The bailiff was Ron Simmons, the stenographer was Teddy Long and the judge was John “Bradshaw” Layfield.
During the court preceding Otis was asked why he thinks he should be able to keep the briefcase and he used logic saying that he won the contract and had a year to cash it in so that fact that he has not cashed it in yet was within the rules of the contract. Miz brought John Morrison, Rey Mysterio, and Tucker on the stand to testify. In the end, it seemed as if JBL was going to rule in favor of Otis until The Miz presented him with w briefcase full of cash and ruled in favor of The Miz.
JBL then announced with Miz winning the case a match has been set for Hell In A Cell on Sunday. The Miz will face Otis with the Money In The Bank briefcase on the line and the winner will walk out with the contract. This is only the fifth match announced for Sunday’s pay-per-view.
WWE Hell In A Cell comes to us this Sunday from the WWE ThunderDome live on the WWE Network.
