New Match Added To NXT Halloween Havoc

One champion will be in action but his title will not be on the line.

Tomorrow night is not just any old episode of NXT, but it will be NXT Halloween Havoc. With that, a number of matches including two title matches and a Haunted House of Terror match are set for the show. This evening, another match was announced.

WWE has announced that the NXT Cruiserweight Champion Santos Escobar will be taking on Jake Atlas but the Cruiserweight Title will not be on the line.

After sending Santos Escobar a painful message, Jake Atlas will get a chance to tangle with the NXT Cruiserweight Champion one-on-one.

Atlas will face Escobar in a non-title match at NXT Halloween Havoc.

Atlas recently aligned himself with Isaiah “Swerve” Scott and Ashante “Thee” Adonis” in the fight against Escobar and Legado del Fantasma. Though Joaquin Wilde pinned Adonis in last week’s Six-Man Tag Team bout, Atlas planted Escobar with a massive cartwheel DDT off the announce table.

Will Atlas again get the better of the champion, or will Escobar make Atlas regret taking up arms against the powerful faction?

This makes five matches now announced for tomorrow night’s NXT Halloween Havoc special on the USA Network. It has been stated that the show will have a 15-minute overrun past the top of the hour so if you are DVRing the show set that accordingly.
