Kazuchika Okada is going to be full-time in AEW.

Last night former IWGP Champion Kazuchika Okada made his All Elite Wrestling debut as a contracted member of the roster. Okada is officially All Elite and was introduced as a heel teaming with Nicholas and Matthew Jackson. Many have asked what Okada’s schedule may look like.

According to a new report from Tokyo Sports, they report that Okada signed a deal with AEW worth $4.5 million per year for three years. That means in total he will make an estimated $13.5 million under his first AEW contract.

In a report from Fightful, they state that Okada will be full-time with AEW, and is planning to relocate to the United States. The Fightful report notes that despite WWE claiming they had no talks with Okada, they confirmed with WWE sources that he did reach out to WWE talent when weighing his decision and if there was a possibility of going to WWE.

Finally, they confirm what most suspected about the way Okada was brought into AEW was to set up an eventual match between himself and Kenny Omega, yet at this time there is no timetable on when Omega will be cleared to return.

If we do hear anything further on how AEW plans to use Kazuchika Okada, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
