New Details On WWE’s Upcoming International Pay-Per-View

WWE’s next international show will be on a Thursday

We learned over the last few days that WWE will be running an international pay-per-view coming up next month. WrestleVotes reported that the day may be set for February 20 but a location was not known at the time of sending out the tweet. Now we may have a little more information on said location.

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Daily Update, he does state that the upcoming February pay-per-view is set to take place in Saudi Arabia. This would be only four months after WWE’s last show in the country on October 31. Meltzer would go on to state that the date told to him was actually February 20 or 27 but nothing was set.

We’re told that it could be 2/20 or could be 2/27 but there is a show scheduled there on a Thursday afternoon but the date we were given was 2/27, with the idea they’d once again have to rush people back for the 2/28 Smackdown TV show in Boston.Β With the tension in the Middle East right now and the problems after the last show, you can imagine a lot of WWE families not being thrilled with this. That may be why it’s been kept so low-key.

Regardless it whether the show is on the 20th or the 27th the show will be taking place on a Thursday.
That mean that they have to hope to not have another incident or issue like that did last time so that the roster does not miss Friday Night Smackdown again.
