New Details On Second AEW Show On TNT

Today WarnerMedia and All Elite Wrestling announced that they have extended their partnership through 2023. AEW Dynamite will remain on TNT for at least the next four years. They also announced a second television show will be coming from AEW and more details have come out on that second show.

Tony Maglio of The Wrap spoke with TNT President Kevin Reily at the Television Critics Association tour and he insinuated the new show will be on TNT. He also stated that the show may not air all 52 weeks of the year. Reily also stated,

“We’re going to embellish [‘AEW Dark’ on YouTube] and put some additional material, kind of behind-the-scenes, kind of docu-follow stuff, if you will, about the athletes and the stories,” Reilly said. “We think that’s going to end up being a really good, robust, different kind of show.”

As far as what that could mean for a weekly wrestling show on the AEW YouTube Channel, Reily stated,

“I think we should continue to put some stuff out on YouTube, just to build that bridge — but not the whole show.”

This actually contradicts what Dave Meltzer reported this morning stating that the new show will not be AEW Dark moving off YouTube to television but a new show in addition to Dynamite and Dark.

If we do hear any additional details on what this new show could be, what network it will air on and when it will begin we will have it for you.
