Multiple Wrestlers Released From AEW, One Released Wrestler Comments

It looks as of multiple AEW wrestlers have been released from the company.

Since April everyone has been criticizing WWE for releasing wrestlers during a pandemic. Other companies like IMPACT, ROH, and AEW have been praised for not cutting a single person on their roster due to COVID budget cuts. Well, it looks like AEW has quietly done that now.

On Thursday many started to notice that a handful of names were removed from the AEW roster page on their website. At first, it was unclear why these names were removed and it looks like it may be budget-related according to one removed wrestler.

The names that were removed from the AEW website are,

  • Bea Priestly
  • El Lindaman
  • Jamie Hayter
  • Jimmy Havoc
  • Sadie Gibbs
  • T-Hawk

One of those wrestlers in Sadie Gibs was asked about this and stated that she is in fact no longer with the company. She stated that it was because of these difficult times and due to circumstances.

As of Thursday night no other wrestler who was removed from the AEW roster page, nor All Elite Wrestling has commented on these wrestlers no longer being with the company.
