Multiple Things Announced For Tonight’s Friday Night Smackdown

What is announced for tonight’s Smackdown?

Tonight’s Friday Night Smackdown was filmed last week in Omaha, Nebraska since WWE is currently doing a three-show tour of Japan. This preview only talks about things WWE is advertising on its website. With that, we know of three matches taking place on tonight’s show.

First off we know that LA Knight will go one-on-one with Santos Escobar. Knight will challenge Logan Paul at SummerSlam for the United States Championship. Escobar and Knight had a confrontation because of the triple threat they were in where Santos was not the one pinned so now he want to show he can beat the Megastar.

A tag team match is taking place tonight where WWE Women’s Champion Bayley will team with Michin against Mrs. Money in the Bank Tiffany Stratton and the reigning Queen of the Ring Nia Jax. Bayley will be defending the Women’s Championship at SummerSlam against Jax so this will lend to more of a slight preview for that.

Finally, we will get a tag team gauntlet match to determine the next number one contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championships. In the match will be Baron Corbin & Apollo Crews, Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa, Legado del Fantasma, The Good Brothers, The Street Profits, and Pretty Deadly.
