Multiple IMPACT Champions To Become Free Agents This Weekend

Multiple IMPACT Champions To Become Free Agents This Weekend

July 16, 2022 1 By Tim Jarrell

Top stars will be free tomorrow.

This weekend IMPACT Wrestling will be in Louisville, Kentucky and these tapings could be very interesting as two of their top stars are set to become free agents tomorrow. IMPACT may have to crown new tag team champions if they can not retain the Good Brothers past these set of tapings.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Johnson reports that Karl Anderson and Doc Gallow’s contracts with IMPACT Wrestling are set to expire on July 17th. The two signed with IMPACT in July of 2020 after being released by WWE earlier that year.

They signed two-year deals and along the way also worked for AEW as well as New Japan Pro Wrestling where Anderson is the current Never Openweight Champion. Unless things change the two will become free agents by the weekend’s end. Despite becoming free agents able to sign anywhere, the two are expected to keep working with New Japan till at least WrestleKingdom next January. The report from Johnson also notes how as long as it works with their New Japan schedule, Gallows and Anderson have committed to work additional dates with IMPACT Wrestling.

If we do hear anything else on The Good Brother’s contracts coming up with IMPACT Wrestling tomorrow, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
