Multiple AEW Stars Reportedly Injured

Two wrestlers possibly hurt taping AEW Dark.

Every week AEW tapings two shows on Wednesday night. They do AEW Dynamite live and then tape AEW Dark for the following Tuesday on the AEW YouTube channel. This week it looks as if two wrestlers were hurt while tapings AEW Dark.

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Meltzer reports that both Marko Sunt and Rey Fenix were both banged up this week. Meltzer states that Stunt hurt his foot. The next day his foot as bothering him and but did not seem serious.

As far as Fenix goes, it is said that after his match with Joey Janela Fenix just laid there in the ring. He then called the referee over, a second ref and a doctor came out and Fenix needed help to the back. It is said that Fenix is banged up from working so many dates. By the next day, it was said that Fenix was okay.

As far as if either will need to take off any miss any time in the ring, that is not known at this time. If we do hear anything further on either’s condition we will keep up updated.
