More On Ronda Rousey Returning To WWE

Yesterday news came out that former RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey is being considered for this weekend’s Royal Rumble event. It was stated that she has been training recently. Rousey has not worked at a match since WrestleMania 35 back in 2019 and gave birth last September. Now we have more info on Rousey’s possibly impending return.

According to Dave Meltzer on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, when asked about Rousey being at the Royal Rumble this weekend, he stated that she is scheduled for WrestleMania this April. Meltzer also noted that as far as Rousey being in the Royal Rumble is not known 100% but it is very possible and would give WWE great media publicity for her involvement.

If Ronda Rousey is going to work WrestleMania this year there are really only two matches they could do with her. The most likely would be her taking on Becky Lynch for the RAW WOmen’s Championship. Yet that could also have her face Charlotte Flair for the Smackdown Women’s Championship as well and that is something that could be set up in the Royal Rumble with Flair being in the match.
