More On Bobby Lashley & MVP Possibly Leaving WWE Soon

Is it time for some hurt business?

Over the weekend it was revealed that Bobby Lashley’s contract was coming up soon with WWE. Reports were that he had been removed from internal rosters as he was not planning to remain with WWE. We also heard similar reports about MVP who could be leaving as well. New reports are that they may plan to make their next moves together.

According to Dave Meltzer on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, he states that the word going around is that both Bobby Lashley and MVP could be wanting to go to AEW. At this time the plan could be to reunite The Hurt Business in AEW. Since both men’s contracts are not actually up yet with WWE they have not been able to have any actual conversations with anyone from AEW about the move.

As far as when their contracts are up, Fightful has stated that Lashley’s are up in the next month if not in the next few weeks. Regarding MVP, PWInsider reports that his current WWE deal is up in mid-August. No major discussion with MVP on a new deal with WWE reportedly have not been had.
