More News On WrestleMania Week TakeOver

NXT may be taking a play from WrestleMania with the next TakeOver.

This week it came out that WWE is planning on doing the next NXT TakeOver on April 8th, the Thursday before WrestleMania. With that WWE has not announced this event, only shown a logo with the date on a page when you try to cancel the WWE Network. With that, we have some more possible info on this TakeOver.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Johnson reports that there have been talks about making this the first-ever two-night TakeOver event. The report goes on to state that Wednesday, April 7th would be night one with night two being Thursday night two. Now, this is interesting for sure but does really raise more questions.

If night one is on April 7th and it is considered night one of TakeOver, will it air on Wednesday night on USA or will it be a WWE Network/Peacock only event? The smart move would be to air it on USA Network and build up to night two airing on WWE Network/Peacock.

Again, WWE has yet to announce publically that this next TakeOver event. If night one does air on the USA, some may just see it as an elevated episode of NXT like they did with Great American Bash and New year’s Evil, but having commercials would hurt the show event if they were to really make it have a TakeOver feel.
