AEW is running the bigger building in Los Angeles.

On Tuesday All Elite Wrestling announced 17 new dates from December till the start of March. One date that was announced was AEW Revolution on March 9th from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California. This is a change for AEW as when is Southern California they normally run the Kia Forum. Now they are running the bigger venue and we have some new info on this move.

According to a new report from Fightful, they state that AEW wanted to run the Crypto.com Arena earlier this year but was not allowed due to WWE having an exclusivity agreement with the venue. Yet with WWE running the Intuit Dome for the first RAW on Netflix that seemingly has opened the door for AEW to run there. Word from a source at the venue was that WWE running the Intuit Dome rubbed them the wrong way. They were said to be happy with WWE announcing their show so quickly after the WWE Intuit Dome announcement. This show for AEW has actually been on the books with the Crypto.com Arena for well over a month.

In announcing the Revolution venue, AEW also announced three straight nights at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York for ROH Final Battle, AEW Collision, and AEW Dynamite. In some cities we are seeing other venue changes as in both Louisville and Phoenix AEW has opted to run smaller buildings than they have in the past in those cities.

If we do hear anything further on AEW running the Crypto.com Arena in LA, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
