Monday Night RAW Superstar Undergoes Surgery
October 6, 2020One RAW wrestler had surgery from a past injury.
Back in August of 2014 Erik of the Viking Raiders was in a serious motorcycle accident that many say he should have died from. Not only did he not die but he was able to recover after multiple surgeries and get back in the ring about seven months later.
Speaking of injuries and surgeries, Erik tag team partner Ivar is out right now with an injury and when one member of a tag team is on the shelf, usually WWE put the other on the shelf as well. With that, Erik felt it was finally time to have surgery to remove some hardware from his arm that was put in after the accident. Erik shared the news today on Twitter.
Today I had hardware removed from my cyborg arm. I’ve been putting off this surgery for a long time and just worked thru the pain and limitations caused by a surgical screw protruding into my triceps.
Thanks to the wonderful Dr Dugas, I’m excited to come back at full strength. pic.twitter.com/9iwOr8jZKE

It is not known how long this surgery will keep Erik out of the ring but with Ivar out and RAW Underground not taking place the last few weeks this was the perfect time for Erik to have the surgery he was needing since he would be able to get the time off to recover anyways.
We hear hope that Erik has a speedy recovery and all is good for him going forward and he can return even strong and better than before.
