Mercedes Martinez First NXT Match Since Signing Announced

Back on January 7th, it was reported had WWE had signed popular independent wrestler Mercedez Martinez. Today WWE confirmed that news stating that Martinez and five others had reported to the WWE Performance Center. Many asked how long it would be till Martinez would have her first match after signing and we know that will not take long.
Tonight on WWE Backstage, Ryan Satin reported that Mercedes Martinez will be in action this Wednesday on NXT. Mercedes Martinez will enter a battle royal to earn a shot at Rhea Ripley and the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Takeover: Portland.

As stated above Martinez was announced in the latest WWE Performance Class today and Martinez shared the news on her Twitter as well.
