Melissa Santos Denies Brian Cage Has Signed With AEW, Cage Suffers injury
January 13, 2020News broke Sunday night during the IMPACT Wrestling Hard To Kill pay-per-view that former IMPACT World Champion Brian Cage had signed a multi-year deal with All Elite Wrestling. It was said that Cage had offers from AEW, IMPACT, and ROH. PWinsider also reported that Cage is dealing with a torn bicep and that is why he did not have an actual match on tonight’s show.
With that, Brian Cage’s wife Melissa Santos sent out a few of Tweets stating that Cage has not signed with AEW and that this was news to her.

It is not uncommon for news like this to come out and then people to deny it because you want to keep it a secret for when they make their big debut. It is also possible that Cage was only offered a deal from AEW and he has yet to officially sign the actual contract.
