Matt Jackson Explains Why The Young Bucks Are No Longer On Twitter
December 24, 2019Matt & Nick Jackson have left Twitter.
Over the weekend Wrestling Twitter was all abuzz with The Young Bucks leaving Twitter. Nick Jackson completely deactivated his account where Matt deleted all the tweets on his a rebranded it at “Young Bucks Official.”
Their father Papa Bucks took to social media over the weekend trying to explain that his boys just needed a break from the “toxicity” and then also deactivated his account as well. Matt took to Instagram to give a full explanation.
“First off, I acknowledge how ridiculous it is that I even need to talk about this, but it’s clearly a distraction. My brother & I decided to leave Twitter permanently a few days ago. We realized it took precious time away from our family who’ve already sacrificed enough time as it is. Also, we’ve noticed how it seems to stifle our creativity. Lastly, after taking numerous breaks this past year from Twitter, we found it to be healing to our mental health, so getting off completely was the next step. This will not change how we interact with our amazing fans, as we’ll continue to put out our best content online. Never be afraid to say hello to us whether it’s on social media or in person. Thanks so much for the support. We love you all very much. Happy holidays!”
Both men still have their Instagram accounts up so they have not left social media as a whole. Some online have stated that the reason for this was because of the heavy criticism online following the end of last week’s AEW Dynamite. Along with having their Instagrams, they will still continue to film, edit and post their Being The Elite show every Monday on YouTube.
