Major Updated To WWE’s Taping Schedule
April 10, 2020WWE has once again changed plans for its upcoming weekly shows.
So it was reported this week that WWE was going to spend the next few days filming weeks of content. It was rumored that they would film everything leading up to the May 10th Money in the Bank pay-per-view. Now that has seemingly shifted on Friday.
According to Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, Satin reports that WWE will move forward starting next week with airing RAW, NXT, and Smackdown live from the WWE Performance Center instead of pre-taping the shows. Sating goers onto state that the decision to do this was made after they filmed tonight’s Smackdown and 205 Live.
According to multiple sources … Raw, Friday Night SmackDown and NXT will once again resume taping their shows live from the Performance Center starting next week. https://t.co/MKek9H4NY0

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, he reports that he spoke with talent about this decision and many he spoke with were not happy about it.
I just heard this too, and a lot of the talent I've reached out to aren't happy about it. https://t.co/AAQn1UiqOg

Sapp also reported that the decision to run everything live and not pre-taped came from the top as in Vince McMahon himself.
It is not known this time what made Vince McMahon to make this decision. Again today’s Smackdown and 205 Live were filmed earlier in the day from there Performance Center and something during or after those shows were taped made McMahon think this was the move that had to be made.
