Major Update Regarding Becky Lynch’s Contract Status With WWE

Is The Man under a new deal or not?

Over a year ago Becky Lynch vacated the RAW Women’s Championship because she was pregnant and could not compete. She ended up giving birth back in December to a baby girl and then in April teased appearing at WrestleMania. It was even reported that she had signed a new deal and not it looks like that may not be the case.

According to Dave Meltzer in the last Wrestling Observer, Meltzer reports that the reason Lynch did not appear at WrestleMania was because she had yet to sign a new deal with WWE. It was also stated that they felt it was too early for her to return before she would be back wrestling. As far as if she has signed a new deal since WrestleMania it looks like she may have as Meltzer wrote the following,

Lynch wasn’t used at WrestleMania as first talked about and teased by her because they were waiting for her to sign a new deal, which is now in effect and because they felt it was too early to debut her before she would be back wrestling

It was reported and we had been told that Becky Lynch was around with WWE last and this week. Last week she was at the Performance Center and trained with Indi Hartwell. Lynch was also backstage at both Hell in a Cell and Monday Night RAW.
