Major Update On The Future Of Kazuchika Okada

February 29, 2024 Off By Tim Jarrell

Could Okada be headed to the ATL next week?

We all know that as of the beginning of February, former IWGP World Champion Kazuchika Okada has been a free agent. There have been a lot of talks about where he is going now that he has finished up with New Japan Pro Wrestling. Many have stated he is headed to AEW and we have our biggest update yet on what is next for the Rainmaker.

According to a new report from Fightful, they report that Okada is expected to go to all Elite Wrestling. They state that the company has been hoping and at least tentatively planning for Kazuchika Okada to be in the fold by the March 6 episode of Dynamite. If this is the case then we could see Oakda make his debut as a contracted AEW wrestler next week in Duluth, which is roughly 45 minutes outside of Atlanta.

Now the one thing you do need to look at is that this report from Fightful, nor reports from any other outlet have outright stated that Okada has signed with AEw. All have just said that that is his expected landing spot. So time will tell over the next week what could be in store for Kazuchika Okada.

If we do hear anything further on the future of Okada and if that is AEW, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
