Major Update On Sasha Banks & Naomi’s WWE Status

Big changes made to internal roster lists.

Back on May 16th, reports started coming out that Sasha Banks & Naomi had walked out of RAW. They gave up the Women’s Tag Team Championship and left the building. Then in mid-June, it was reported that Sasha Banks had gotten her release from the company. That led to the word that banks were told she would be getting her release yet the details of her release still needed to be worked out before it was actually official. Now we have the biggest update on Banks and Naomi thus far.

According to a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Johson reports that within the last 24 hours, both Sasha Banks and Naomi have been removed from internal roster lists in WWE. Now, this is not 100% confirmation that one or both have been released by WWE but there are a few things that lead to this being possible.

As stated above it is believed that Banks will be getting her release and the terms of this release just needed to be agreed upon. It was also reported by Johnson that Banks may be doing some non-WWE signings this fall. It is possible that the terms have been agreed upon.

With Naomi, after the walkout, it was reported that Naomi may have only had two months or so left on her current deal with the company. It is possible that Naomi’s deal could have expired with a new deal not being worked out even if that was something they could have been trying to work on.

Again this does not confirm that one if not both or no longer with the company, but their being removed from the roster list is very interesting. If we do hear anything regarding the WWE status of Sasha Banks and Naomi, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
