Major Update On Nikki Bella & Artem Chigvinstev Divorce Case

Nikki & Artem have started their next chapter in life.

Back at the end of August, it was reported that Nikki Bella and her husband had a domestic incident at their home in Nappa, California and Artem Chigvenstev was arrested for domestic battery. Since then the two have filed for divorce. Bella tried to get full custody of her 4-year-old son and now it looks like their days in court have come to an end.

According to TMZ, they report that Nikki and Artem have settled their divorce. Based on new legal documents, Nikki and Artem went to mediation earlier this month and worked everything out on a divorce settlement. One source stated that Nikki and Artem decided to quickly settle their divorce because they both wanted to move on. One reason noted was because their lawyers were getting very expensive, plus it was emotionally draining as well. TMZ noted how they are told that Nikki and Artem are not really getting along, but are cooperating with one another as their current relationship is seen as a work in progress.

A rep for Bell told TMZ, “Nikki’s number one priority has always been her son and privacy on the matter. She is thankful for all of the love and support she has received during this difficult time.”

As far as terms of the settlement, those are unclear at this time. We do know that originally the judge ordered the two to share custody of their 4-year-old son after Bella asked for full custody.

Artem was said to be seeking spousal support from Nikki, but in her divorce filing, she checked the box that would block the court’s ability to award him that. The two have also agreed to dismiss the restraining orders they had against one another.
