Major Update On Bayley’s Injury & When It Happened

July 9, 2021 3 By Tim Jarrell

We have more info on Bayley’s injury.

Earlier today it was revealed by WWE that Bayley had suffered an injury that could keep her out of action for up to nine months. WWE did not give any further details other than this will for certain take her out of the Smackdown Women’s Title match at Money in the Bank. Now we have some more information regarding the injury to the former four-time Women’s Champion.

According to a report from Fightful, they report that the injury to Bayley came earlier this week at the WWE Performance Center. Bayley was partaking in WWE’s “mandatory” extra training as superstars get ready to head back out on the road. The report states that she was training with another superstar in the ring when her knee popped. It was stated that staff had been told it’s a torn ACL. Neither WWE nor Bayley herself have confirmed the nature of the injury in question.

If it is a torn ACL as we suspected earlier that would be why they say she could be out upwards of nine months. A typical ACL tear will keep an athlete out for six to nine months and normally the latter. Usually, with a knee injury, Dr’s recommend taking as much time as possible to recover as once you suffer a serious knee injury they are to most common injuries to reoccur or happen again.

As stated above, as of this writing Bayley herself has not commented on the injury and if we do hear anything else regarding her injury, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
