Major TLC Rematch Announced For Smackdown

Two guys will fight again on Christmas.

Last night at WWE TLC we saw a TLC match between Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens for the Universal Championship. The entire time Owens had to fight from behind because he was not only fighting Roman Reigns, but Jey Uso was involved the entire time as well. Now Owens will get another, and possibly more fair shot on Smackdown.

WWE has announced that this Friday on the Christmas edition of Friday Night Smackdown Kevin Owens will get another shot at Roman Reigns and the Universal Championship. The difference this time will be that it will be contested in a Steel Cage match. Hopefully, with the Steel Cage stipulation Owens can have a more fair fight with no one getting involved.

At WWE TLC, Universal Champion Roman Reigns employed the help of his cousin Jey Uso to add to his overall advantage against the ultra-resilient Kevin Owens and ultimately secured the victory in an absolutely brutal Tables, Ladders & Chair Match.

But there will be no one and nothing to help either Superstar when they are locked inside the unforgiving steel on the blue brand. KO challenges The Big Dog a Universal Championship Rematch inside a Steel Cage, this Friday at 8/7 C on SmackDown.

Along with this title match taking place, WWE also announced during TLC that Sami Zayn will defend the Intercontinental Championship against Big E.

Also, don’t forget Smackdown will be taped this Tuesday and WWE will be allowing fans into the ThunderDome virtually and because of that spoilers will be out.
