Major First Time Ever Title Match Announced For WrestleMania 37

Title match announced on RAW.

Tonight on Monday Night RAW we saw the RAW Women’s Champion Asuka take on Peyton Royce after Royce called her out a number of weeks ago on Talking Smackdown. Royce put up a good fight but it was the champion picking up the win in the end. Yet that was not all for Asuka tonight.

As Asuka was celebrating her win out would come the former NXT and NXT UK Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley. Ripley would come out and say that Charlotte Flair challenged Asuka to a title match but now Charlotte is out with COVID. With that, she wants to face Asuka at WrestleMania for the RAW Women’s Championship. Asuka would state that Ripley was not ready for Asuka before accepting Ripley’s Challenge. WWE would then confirm this match after the commercial break. This match will be the first time Asuka and Ripley will have ever competed against one another.
