Major Return Reported For Saudi Arabia Show Next Month
January 26, 2020Saudi Arabia could be getting another major return.
It has been reported that next month WWE will be returning to Saudi Arabia for another WWE Network special, yet WWE has yet to officially announce the match. With that, it looks like one WWE Hall Of Famer could be returning to the ring next month.
According to PWInsider, they report that Sting is likely to be involved in the Saudi show. PWInsider says that multiple sources in WWE have indicated to them that it is very likely that Sting works a match on the show. If so this would be Sting’s first match since he seemingly retired in 2016 and then went into the WWE Hall Of Fame.
One thing to note is that they stated that at this time, the creative direction for Sting does not include The Undertaker.
Over the last 24 hours, several sources within WWE have told PWinsider.com that there’s been a lot of talk that WWE Hall Of Famer Sting will be a major part of the 2/27 Saudi Arabia event next month, possibly even returning to the ring for one more match.
Once we heard this news we asked around about it and one source did indicate to us that Sting is in Houston where the Royal Rumble is taking place. Take that how you may, but that does not mean he will be used on the show to build towards whatever this match may be, yet it very rightful could. It was also hinted to us that the match with Sting is not likely to be a straight-up singles one-on-one match.
If we do hear anything else about Sting returning for a match in Saudi Arabia we will keep you updated.
