Major NXT Call Up Announced During SummerSlam

A former NXT Champion is coming to RAW.

Every year after SummerSlam people start talking about who from NXT could be called up to RAW or Smackdown. Sometimes we get big names and sometimes we get names no one expected called up. Tomorrow night on RAW, we are getting a major name called up.

During tonight’s SummerSlam event a video package played highlighting former NXT Champion Keith Lee. At the end of the video, it said that Keith Lee is coming to RAw tomorrow night.

After becoming the first double champion in NXT history last month Keith Lee relinquished the North American Championship. Then last night at NXT TakeOver XXX Lee was defeated by Karrion Kross and lost the NXT Championship. Now the Limitless one is bound for the red brand. It has been said that every since Vince McMahon saw Keith Lee last November for the build for Survivor Series he wanted him called up. Then it was said that McMahon was even higher on Lee when he saw him in the ring with Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble. It was just a matter of time before the trigger was pulled and Lee was brought to either RAW or Smackdown.
