Major Injury Update On Becky Lynch After SummerSlam
August 1, 2022Lynch may need some time off.
This past weekend’s SummerSlam kicked off with the RAW Women’s Title match between Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch. During the match, Belair gave Lynch a GlamSlam, and instead of landing flat on her face she rotated and landed on her right shoulder. For the rest of the match, Lynch used the arm but was favoring it a lot. During the post-match, Lynch was holding her right arm with it over her stomach to keep the arm steady and not really moving as you would if you suffered a shoulder injury. Now we have an update on Lynch’s shoulder.
According to Bryan Alvarez of the Wresting Observer, Alvarez reported he can confirm that Lynch did suffer a separated shoulder at SummerSlam. Alvarez did not that he does not know how severe the injury actually is.
If it is a grade one then sometimes you can work through the injury to an extent. The worst version is a grade three where you can not do anything with your arm. If Lynch only suffered a grade 1 shoulder injury then could only be out for a few weeks. If it is the worst-case scenario and a grade 3, she would be out of action for six to twelve weeks.
If we do hear anything else on Lynch suffering a seperated shoulder, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
