The voice of WWE isn’t going anywhere.

Depending on what era of WWE you watched the most you would have a different perspective on who “the voice of WWE” is. Some may say Gorilla Monsoon. Some may say Jim Ross, and some may say Michael Cole. Triple H calls Michael Cole the voice of the WWE and the best to ever do it. With that, it was revealed today that Cole has signed a new deal with WWE.

The Ringer has published a piece ahead of this weekend’s SummerSlam about Monday Night RAW commentator Mich Cole and the piece revealed that Cole has signed a new deal with WWE. No details were given on how long the deal is for but it was noted to be for the “foreseeable future.” It noted,

β€œThis spring, Cole signed a new contract that will keep him as the voice of WWE for the foreseeable future,”

Triple H even made reference to this today on the SummerSlam kickoff show when he briefly came out to hype up the crowd in Cleveland. He and Cole did Triple H’s iconic water spit spot on stage together. Well, Triple H did and Cole attempted to and failed famously.

Cole has been with WWE for 27 years now and has had a few different roles with the company during his time. Cole was a backstage interviewer, color, and play-by-play commentator and was at one point in charge of the entire broadcast team across all of WWE. Cole now steers the ship every Monday night on RAW with his broadcast colleague Pat McAfee.
